The business

I founded my independent commercial agency EuroParquet at the end of 2004 and operations started on 1st January, 2005. After many years working for BIMBO Holzwerke GmbH, where I was responsible for European marketing operations, processing orders and logistics, I decided to make more intensive use of my numerous international contacts in the field of parquet flooring.

Taking part in the trade fairs BATIMAT (Paris in November 2003), Europarkett (Kortrijk/Belgien in April 2004) und DOMOTEX (Hannover in January 2004 and 2005) enabled me to make many new, interesting contacts, which I now cultivate and use as the basis of my company.

Personal

I was born in 1957 and passed the higher school leaving certificate exams in 1976. Sitting state exam as joiner/cabinetmaker in 1981. Training as salesman in the wholesale and export trade followed with the Chamber of Commerce exam in 1995. I expanded knowledge of English and French with the Commercial English (1994) and Commercial French exams (1996) of the London and Paris Chambers of Commerce.
